Today starts Week 1, Day 1 of the new lifting cycle. The cycle will be used to help athletes learn to cycle a barbell for repot ions at heavy work loads. Remember that the percentages we give are not a must. Find a percentage that allows you to be efficient and allows you to increase each week. Let’s have fun and get strong the next 4 weeks.
The 2016 CrossFit Games Open season is just 4 weeks away. If you haven’t signed up or even thought about signing up then you better start getting prepared. This will we will be hosting “Friday Night Lights” for the 5 weeks of the Open. I will be providing more details on FNL in the next few weeks. This will be open to the public and any one wanting to join the fun.
Barbell Cycling Day 1 (5 sets @70% of C&J)
1 Clean (full) +
2 Front Squats +
Back Squat (1 rep at 90%)
Back Squat (Decrease 55# from above for 5 reps)
3 Rounds for time of:
15 Handstand Push-Ups
9 Thrusters, 135#
